I use fresh green beans and canned soup.

I prefer canned GB because of their texture, but basically sub heavy cream for milk, add 8745873x more FF onions than any recipe calls for, and a handful of shredded cheese. I like it super thick and creamy.

Ya know, I've never had mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving before with anyone's family despite it being included in most people's spreads.

My favorite is cornbread dressing. But I love it all. Green bean casserole. Cheesy potato casserole. Rice dressing..

All I need are rolls for dipping and tons of gravy.

I make a crawfish étouffée and then mix it in to cornbread. Makes a damn fine stuffing.

Corn bread dressing.. although our is a mix of cornbread, loaf bread, and biscuits.

Good mix. My wife uses cornbread and stale loaf bread. I'm sure she would use old biscuits if she had them. She used to work in a restaurant that made the best cornbread dressing we've ever had. The old lady who made it threw in all the left over rolls and hushpuppies from the previous night, along with a healthy dose of pimentos. Served it on their lunch buffet the next day.
