Favorie: DFW easily when there's no construction going on around a particular terminal.

Louisville International was pretty easy to navigate as well

Least: NOLA MSY for the complete lack of decent amenities and quality of food and drink avail. The hike to the rental car area is BRUTAL as well.

Used to be Dallas Love or Houston Hobby but they've worked on upgrading lately.

Favorite: Reagan in DC. So convenient to the center of the city and has flights everywhere

I also love a nice small/ mid size airport though. Savannah/Hilton Head is awesome. Never crowded, a couple restaurants and a Starbucks, rocking chairs in the pickup area. Nashville is nice also, I've had good experiences at Pittsburgh's airport though it isn't really modern.

Least favorite: fricking O Hare. It's hell on earth especially in the winter. I feel like the world is ending every time I'm there. And having to take their ghetto arse train system on the other side of the service road outside security to connect between international and domestic is absurd

LAX has some really old ghetto terminals as well. I've never been in the really nice one the guy earlier was talking about

Least faves:
MSY - Terrible airport all around
SeaTac - After 10pm the place is a ghost town. After 10pm is the only time I ever seem to connect here.
ANC - it's not a bad airport but I spend too much time in it. They need to work on their music soundtrack terribly. Flight options out this airport are terrible most of the year.

Faves:
PDX - Great smaller airport
LFT - From the parking lot to my gate is 10 mins tops.
DFW - I've always had good connections here.

Meh:
DEN - easy connections but terrible food options.
IAH - great food options, but terrible connections.

Least Favorite--Midland/Odessa. Never mind that the airplane parks right next to the baggage claim, it takes half an hour to get your baggage.

Favorite--Denver. Yes it's far away from civilization, but the layout is well-planned and the United terminal has lots of amenities (including a Swarovski kiosk--great bling for your SO).

PS--Orlando has a whole Swarovski shop, what do you mean no amenities?

I fly to regional airports in the midwest regularly and only really connect through DFW or ORD. I will fly 500 miles out of my way to go through DFW than to go through ORD. Have never had good luck there, but sometimes it's my only option.

Totally random, but the Peoria, Illinois airport is one of the nicest I have ever been to for a small city. Very impressed.

That's why I never check luggage. I basically grew up a plane, and can likely count the number of times, I have checked bags, on one hand.
