Saw a TE from Bowling Green entering the portal, Washington State QB too. Any interest in either?
Sucks to be an Auburn football fan lately. There’s always hope we don’t go backwards when new coaches come in. At least there’s not much room to go backwards

Auburn is likely to add 3* OL Mason Mathis. Previous USF commit

SEC just voted to increase scholarship size to 105
More than enough to go around in the NIL age, so shouldn't hurt

They'll slap a random, low 3* rating on him and call it a day
Auburn added a UR S from Thompson, Damonta Tabb
quote:
Auburn on the last day of the early signing period has added an in-state safety to its 2026 recruiting class.
Thompson defensive back Damonta Tabb, who had 11 interceptions as a senior, on Friday announced plans to sign with Auburn.
Tabb, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, received an offer from the Tigers earlier in the day.
Tabb also had offers from West Virginia, Maryland, USF, Cincinnati and Baylor, among others.
As a senior, Tabb helped lead Thompson to the 7A state championship. He finished with 78 tackles, including 50 solos, four tackles for loss, 11 pass deflections, a fumble recovery and 11 interceptions.
 trying to keep things lively

you're so deep in your loser mentality that you can't see that a 5-7 hugh freeze team is entitled to a bowl game
pathetic. go eat a steak
Me personally, I'd rather Rivals/On3 and that's what I do.
The paysite boards are really active. They'll probably be running sales soon so if that interests you, i'd wait until then. Just my opinion

I thought LSU was giving Lane 40 million. Regardless, I am excited to see what Golesh can do with 30 million. If true, we are gonna be OK.
Not sure how accurate any of this is, but for perspective - the article said that most P4 programs that are football focused are at $20-25million

Interview on Wareagle+, the auburn athletics subscription site.

For high school - I don't think so, no. We're 38th on the Rivals/On3 rankings and I suspect we'll finish a few spots +/- that. There's just not many unsigned/uncommitted guys left and I don't think there's enough to push us up much further. Just my guess
Others have said it better than me, but I imagine the work being done now is meeting with players on the roster, evaluating film, and determining the priority guys at each position and what the needs are. Then move on to portal scouting/recruiting as soon as announcements start coming in about who is entering to address needs
A good portal class goes a long way this season. I think we got enough HS guys to keep things afloat

Tavian Branch’s paperwork now officially in

Auburn doesn’t have financial agreement paperwork for Branch or Wilson yet. JLee said someone he spoke to at Auburn didn’t give a reason as to why but said they’re not concerned about it.
As for Matthews, I think the Friday signing was just for extra time to think/gather info after all the coaching changes. I think Auburn, LSU, and OM all were finalists for him so it makes some sense that he may want some extra time
As always, you never know

Don’t remember the exact details on Waller, but if I recall, On3 had him as a 3* at one point while all of the other services had him top 10 at his position.
So yeah they got roasted here and over there

Some low T baws in here
Penn State has 2 signees so far, one of which is Peyton Falzone. In addition to that, they’ve got just one commitment that’s unsigned
Kind of felt like recruiting was frozen in time from sometime in the Spring. For a number of reasons it seems, all of which frustrating

They suggested we could flip back Womack which didn’t happen. They were pretty upfront that Carter was leaning heavy to Tenn.
The other flips they mentioned were Deshawn Spencer, Brian Williams, Rhys Brush, Mykall Lundy-Foster, and the Wells brothers.
I think all of those are on track to happen, with the one to watch being the Wells brothers. But even there - they reported that Texas made a better offer to Chris Wells after Texas lost their other DL commits
I’m only on Rivals/On3 these days so I don’t know if 247 was more manipulative, but I think everyone knew today wasn’t going to be one to celebrate
