Stewart has like 8/9 k's in a row.

Cannot have him batting that spot in the order if this continues.
Stewart needs to move down in order. Unless he can stop swinging at off speed away, or make an attempt to go opposite field.

Worse case, it blows the surrounding tanks as well. It might make sense to just let it leak out and avoid an explosion.

I get that.

I was just wondering how big the explosion would be in terms of distance and structures affected.

I see there is a neighborhood directly across the street. Would it wipe out the entire area, or just a portion of it?
What kind of blast are we talking here? If it were to explode.
Georgia clawing back into this one.

I'm not nearly as confident about our game with Arky as you are.

I watched some of your all's game last night. I really like your team.

You have pitching depth, which IMO is the most important thing for a teams success in the post season.

Your hitting looks legit as well.

I can't remember this many pitchers getting hit like they have in this tournament.

Arkansas has been improving for several weeks now. We started out so slow, and we had almost let go of the rope this season. But DVH somehow got these kids to play MUCH better the last half of the season. Bats and Pitching.

Florida, Georgia, and Auburn have been consistent most of the year. They are all really good.

I'm curious to see how we play against Auburn today. Can we continue to show our growth/improvement? Or will we fall back to what we saw earlier in the season?

That sucks for Kuhio. He was starting to put the bat on the ball consistently after a slow start to the year.

Fortunately, in comparison to other injuries, it's not too long of a recovery. But he's for sure done playing this season.
That sounded loud as hell!

I mean... he's getting paid to win games.

If he's working within the current legal boundaries, you cannot complain about his method.

With that said, the winds of change are coming. And I think there is going to be some sort of system to tame the wild west system we have now.

College sports were set up for young kids to live out their dreams. It was never meant to be a money maker for older guys that couldn't make it professionally. And honestly it's sad that a lot of young people are getting screwed over because the adults in the room couldn't fix the system.

That sounds horrible. I thought it was bad 15 years ago.

It's an absolute shite show.

Cannot get ANYWHERE fast.

East west traffic during rush hour is bumper to bumper. Interstate is bumper to bumper, and there's typically a wreck every couple of days that backs traffic up for miles. If there isn't a wreck, the cars merging onto the interstate will cause the backup.

That place has changed immensely over the years. Not for the better.

I would say there are pro's and cons for sure.

Traffic has definitely gotten 10x worse.

Infrastructure hasn't been able to keep up. The easiest fix, while acknowledging the high cost, would be to build a east west loop around the metro. It would immediately free up city traffic.

I do appreciate all the new amenities that have been built.

And from a financial standpoint, the work in my industry has benefited.

All of that being said, this growth was inevitable. Walmart, Tyson, JB Hunt.. It is what they envisioned. And we all know they get what they want.

If they can keep the crime down, and get some federal funding to help with the infrastructure the area will continue to grow well past the 1million figure they've estimated in the next decade.
I think it's funny reading some of the comments under the NWA one.

A great glimpse into how people are so irrational when they see an area with lower crime and big money.

"Hell Hole"
"Dystopian"
"15 minute city"

Heaven forbid there be a community that doesn't put up with the shite bigger cities often do.

Ignorance is bliss.

And I'm not saying Wal-Mart is some perfect entity. I've just lived here most of my life, and it's a blessing we call NWA home.

I just don't understand our hitting.

There first two pitchers weren't throwing anything special, and we couldn't put the ball in play.

Is it just me, or can Helfrick not throw out people that are stealing?

He's not accurate, and majority of the time the throw is late.

Looking at the stats I see he had a couple bad outings. Oddly enough they were against lesser opponents.

Maybe he just didn't have the command those games.

But what I just saw, with his pitching, was far more electric than anyone else in the pen.

He had that curve ball that just drops off the face of the earth. And that fastball was top notch too.

DeCremer needs some serious run moving forward.

The spin on his off speed, and the velocity/movement on fastball is legit.

Ummmm..

Why hasn't DeCremer pitched more this year?

His off speed pitch snaps off like crazy. Was fooling their hitters.

His fastball had some drop and movement along with velocity.

All the other guys we have in the bullpen throw up meatball floaters with no sharp spin.

I wish there were more young pitchers that would learn how to locate pitches over all the other flash stuff.

Give me a Maddux, Keuchel, Hendricks type pitcher over a guy that can throw 100 mph.

Ground ball pitchers... So precise and extremely effective.

Gibler and Gaeckle both have a tendency to get ahead 0-2 and then either throw completely noncompetitive pitches, or just straight up meatballs down the middle.
