During that time she collected support payments but also blew a shite load of money out of her trust fund(from her grandfather), spent a bunch of cash on a house that was in her name alone, and a bunch of other shite. The husband was on the hook for half of all that got pissed away after he thought they were divorced for over 2 years.

On the hook for half of what? She spent existing money on things from a trust and he had to pay for half of that? Was some of this on loans, or who did he have to pay? He had to give her half the value of something she already owned? That doesn't make any sense and he would have legally been entitled to half the value of those things.

He had to reimburse her for half of the money she cashed out of her trust to piss away and no he wasn't entitled to any of the remaining funds.

BTW he, is me. lol

This happened down in Lafourche about 15 years ago.

Probably the most f-ed up post-divorce thing I've heard about.

On August 20, 2007, Amy Hebert fatally stabbed her children and the family dog; Camille was aged 9 and Braxton was aged 7. Hebert told a psychiatrist that Camille had begged for her life.[11] The children had defensive wounds to their hands and arms;[12] Camille had about 30–35 stab wounds to the front of her torso while Braxton had about 50-55 stab wounds to his torso, with about 30 to the front and 20–25 to the back.[11] All of Camille's vital organs had been hit, and both victims had been stabbed in the heart.[12] Camille was also stabbed on her scalp about 30 times;[11] the blade did not penetrate her skull.[12] Amy Hebert also stabbed herself about 30 times, giving herself wounds in the abdomen, chest, neck, and wrists.

My ex bro in law had his fiancée trip up on her vows. She literally could not make herself say "to obey" and didnt customize vows.

She told him immediately after the wedding it was a mistake and locked herself in the master bedroom for two weeks until she left one night..

A friend, well more of a friend of a friend, married a woman with 2 young children.

She convinced him to adopt her children.
She then divorced him.

He was on the hook for child support for 15 years for kids that weren't even his.

Talk about a cautionary tale.

I've seen this play out several times.

One of the women went back to the kids' father, so dude #2 is paying child support to the bio father basically.

A different chick had an unexpected baby with a dude with no career. Marries a high up oilfield baw, has kid #2, gets him to adopt kid #1, then divorces him. Has more kids.

Dude goes to Reddit for advice about his cheating wife. He starts the divorce process and she kills the kids.

I can’t imagine. He probably thought his whole world was collapsing. The kids are the ones who really lost in this case. No mother and no father. I’m not here to pass judgement, but there always is a different way.

It won’t be easy, and it may suck, but I will never let a woman have that much influence and control over my mind.

a lady from the courts has been trying to serve divorce papers at my house cause someone on the supply chain wrote the wrong address down.

I was able to track down who it was cause it was one digit off and it had his name. Poor baw is still out in the heat playing with his kids every day while his watching wife wonders why the paperwork hasn't come yet.

Jesus. That's terrible. Had a dirtbag in my area get a VHS tape sent from his wife while about 2 months into a WestPac cruise. She was doing two dudes and included a note saying it was over and she wanted to be free or some shite. He understandably lost it and had to be sent home. Never found out what happened, but despite being a dirtbag, couldn't believe someone would do that to someone else like that.

but the real kick in the nuts was that before they had filed for divorce she emptied out his retirement account ($500k+) with her online "boyfriend" by gambling.

I highly doubt it's even possible for this to happen.

Pretty wild one:

Five married women had a "girls night out" in NOLA and rented a limo for the occasion. At the end of the night, they were flirting with the driver and told him to pull over somewhere. He pulled into City Park and proceeded to screw all five women. Apparently, 4 of them would wait outside while each had their turn with him in the limo.

Afterwards, the girls all kept their mouth shut, and none of the husbands had a clue. However, one of the women continued contact with the limo driver, and even began stalking him. He was so bothered by her, that he confronted her husband at his work and told the whole story.

Five divorces resulted from that one night.

The last time was like 2 years ago, and I couldn't search far enough back.

After reading some of these where there was murder, mine wasn't like that, just how it impacted me.

Had been married 3 years, came home from work, found a note on the door. It read "I'm tired of living for everyone else, I want to live for me". Opened the door to basically an empty house. 90% of all furniture gone, pets gone. This was the days before cell phones. Called her parents, went over to their house, and she wasn't there, and they claimed to not know, which I believed (they liked me).
Next day found out that the bank account was empty as well.
We worked different shifts, she was in nursing school when we married, and had taken a 3rd shift job at the local hospital.
Apparently somewhere along the way, she ran into an old boyfriend from HS and they got friendly and would meet up in the mornings after I went to work. I only found out about 2 weeks after she left and a mutual friend came and told me what she had seen.
Did I mention that I was the youth minister at the time at the church she grew up in? Everyone she knew on earth went to that church, and I was the one of the two of us still there.
I weight 168 lbs when this happened, and 60 days later I weighed 118. I couldn't eat, sleep, think. I drove around all night looking for her every night. I slept on the floor because I had no bed.
I finally found out where she was staying and tried to talk to her several times, but she just told me she was ashamed and couldn't come back. Her parents were devastated and were truly sad for me. After about 8 months, she finally filed for divorce. My attorney was a member of the church, and he did it all for me. About 3 months later, he knocked on my door and handed me an envelope and said I was divorced.

I ended up moving about 2 months later from that town. Ended up meeting my current wife and we just celebrated our 25th anniversary.

I would never want anyone to go through what I went through, but I also learned a lot from the process.

But apparently in Indiana, a woman can cheat on her husband, get full custody, and demand child support payments.

You really gotta vet these women before saying I do. There’s no way there weren’t red flags.
I am forever grateful to the universe for not letting me get my ex gf pregnant. I was young and ignored countless red flags.

My best friend caught his wife cheating on him, not red handed but saw shite on her phone where she was talking about to the other guy and one of her friends. Before telling her he knew or confronting her he confronted an attorney for advice (this dude was always the smartest guy I knew).

He still loved her but knew deep down inside it was over but she would never admit to anything.

So, the attorney basically makes him play 007 for like 3 months (put a GPS tracker on her car, hired a PI to take photos, follow the chic, etc). During those three months, he was the model husband and father. He didnt drink a sip of alcohol. Didnt go play golf once. Did housework every chance he could and made sure he posted tons and tons of photos on social media of him alone at all the kids functions and after a few months he just simply, without explanation filed for divorce and she went ballistic. Threatened to take his kids, half his shite and ruin his reputation at their country club, work with all their friends and he just showed her the pocket rockets and said "I dare you".

By that point he was well on his way to being over it and he could see daily the kind of bitch she was. He had trouble sleeping at night so he started wearing headphones so he didn't even have to hear her breathe.

But, in the end he walked away battered and bruised but his life is in tact, he's got a great relationship with this kids and is now dating someone new.
