Saw a dude slip off the dock as a boat he was about to jump on with twin outboards was backing out of a slip.
His intestines were floating on the top of the water as he was screaming.
Also saw two people hit the beach because their parachutes didn’t open while sky diving.

1. Twice I’ve seen car wrecks where one of the vehicles flipped over;
2. Saw a guy walk up and shoot another guy point blank;
3. Saw my mom die of a heart attack sitting next to me on a plane.

I think he was a Pike pledge. He kept a journal with a jump countdown. No one had any idea he was in a crisis. Sad.

As a young stupid person I took acid and ecstasy with a friend just before an MS150 ride to Austin.
Friend and I become separated within the hour so I'm off on my own riding endlessly while going through these small towns where everyone has pulled tables out from restaurants and are eating, but also looking up to smile and wave as we go by.
It was like being in an Omen movie. Who are these people and what do they want?
Also interesting were the refill stations where they give you some water and a banana, which I found inordinately strange bc of the drugs.
Not recommended.

I had treated a very nice man who had stage 4 Cancer and ended up dying. A month or so later, his son, who was in his late teens, came in for a routine visit. As we spoke, I was thinking of how I was going to express my condolences and compliments about his Dad. I got out the words “I was sorry to hear about” when the lights flickered off than on again after a second. It was very surreal for the son as well as myself. And no, there was no bad weather and we had never had light or electrical problems before or since.

After a lifetime of riding motorcycles, I quit due to all the idiots on there “devices”. Was dangerous enough before, but device distraction put me out on motorcycling.

A couple horrific bar brawls.
A KISS concert in 1977.
Several famous musical artists doing heavy drugs after concerts.
The Celtics comeback vs. the Sixers in the 1981 playoffs.
Bird hang 50 on Dominique Wilkins.
McEnroe call me an f---ing Brit at Wimbledon in 1982. I'm 100% American.

Being shot at with a shotgun.
Cupping a prop on a Mooney doing touch &go's.
Working a blowout w/ Boots and Coots.
Seeing a racecar burst into flames immediately in front of me in the pits (by the time I got my belts off the crew had gotten the driver out).
The really deep stuff I'll keep to myself, but I know God is real and He has them.

Saw an F-18 drop a JDAM on a building we were taking fire from and a body flew about 200 feet into the air like it was a doll.

Seems odd. I mean, you can drink without driving and getting into an accident.

Here’s a feel good one…
2001.
Dale Earnhardt had recently died at Daytona.
Kevin Harvick having to take over driving that car- he was young.
Nascar at that time was really popular- people were into it- would talk about it at work. Travel to races.
Jeff Gordon was probably the best driver then, but because he was “fancy” most fans thought he was gay.
Gordon leads the Atlanta race that year for most of it. You used to rent radios to hear what the crews were saying to their drivers.
All of a sudden, Gordon starts to fall behind- fast. He comes on the radio “I’m outta gas” “Gonna run it back on the starter”
Jeff Gordon drove the car into the pits using the STARTER to power the car to keep on the lead lap.
He lost that race by .006 seconds (I went and looked it up)
Kevin Harvick won his first race. In Earnhardt's car.
I was there- it was surreal. At that moment, no one knew if they were an Earnhardt fan, Gordon fan, or Harvick fan. All they knew was that they had just witnessed one of the greatest finishes to any race ever in history.
