I know I'll get a lot of down votes but it's a true story. We actually have ghost cats at our home too. They chase my parent's cats around the house. The cats will run by and you'll catchall quick gkimps of the ghost cat.

once leaving work circa 1 am off siegen. once being a fricking moron walking to my car drunk leaving a bar around northgate.
witnessed the robbery getting into my car in perkins rowe parking garage junior year in highschool. I was sitting in my car fiddling around with something. When I looked up, some jackass about my age was waving a gun in two girls faces and took their purses.

That would be scary as heck, but you kind of brought that upon yourself... Why would you not check the seas before going into the gulf?
I have a friend with a 60 ft boat steel hull, We've still never not checked before we got out there.

Maybe not so much the "scariest" but the most recent was when I flew out of my home at 3:00 AM on that fateful Saturday after hearing that homes a mere 5 minutes from me were flooding.
I turned down Sherwood Forest to get to a friend's house, and was greeted by what seemed to be a river washing across the road. I was able to make a quick turn down a side street and head up to Goodwood and then to my friend's apartment.
Luckily my home was spared, but I'll never forget that "oh shite" moment.

We never made trips unless the seas were predicted to be small. 2-3 ish range.

Had to land a Cessna 172 in a 15+ kt direct crosswind flying solo while still a student pilot. I knew ahead of time the wind would be blowing but the airport I was landing at had two runways so I would have been able to avoid a direct crosswind. Well en-route the airport closed the more favorable runway for some maintenance reason.
I watched the guy ahead of me land and he struggled bad. I turned final, said a quick prayer, held my breath, and put her down. It was bumpy as all hell and I almost bounced up and struck a wing on the runway but it ended being all ok.
I was stupid for attempting that flight as a student but I was young and dumb. Even now with many hours and certificates under my belt I probably would hold off attempting that again.

Lost everything in Katrina. The only thing left now is the foundation. My mother actually had a similar experience as well. It took me awhile before I went back there by myself.

A few years ago, my family was on a safari in Africa. Several of us went for a walk in this valley. Suddenly we heard alot of rumbling and the ground started to shake. Hundreds of wildebeests were stampeding toward us. My dad tried to save my uncle, Mufasa, but he was trampled to death.

Yup happened in 09 I believe. It was bad. He clipped a tree on the way down which ended his chance of instant death.

I drove drunk one night like a fool. Driving down Florida Blvd and a homeless guy walked out in front of me while I was going 60 miles an hour. I swerved at the last second hit him with my mirror and the passenger side window broke all over my friend. I obvy freaked out and went back to look for him he wasn't there. Drove down the road a little ways and he was on so many drugs he didn't know what happened. Had to call an ambulance and he was ok but l had to go to jail and it sucked.

They used to do this in an attempt to rob people. No idea why they thought jumping out in the road after the bars closed was a good idea, but they did it. Had the same thing happen to me in my gf's sister's car
