Was working a rig in Glen Rose, TX.

We got stuck after TDing the well because the geologists got lost and had us drill a roller coaster in the lateral. I got off my shift and went to town to gas up for the drive home and have a few beers while they circulated the hole clean.

brought some pizzas back for the rig crew and went up to the floor to bs before bed. Got to the top of the stairs and there is nobody around. they had left the slips in and were rotating the drill pipe while circulating (pumping drillng fluid down hole to help clean the bit and wellbore) well the slips came loose rose about 4 feet off the floor and were launched across the rig floor and just annihilated the air hoist. I just set the pizzas down and went change my shorts. 5 feet to the right and I would have been killed most likely.

Fourth grade at the bus pickup at school in Hawaii - girl my age run over by a bus (and I mean the tires ran over her).

I still remember the sound.

F4 Tornado throwing tractor trailers like Tonka toys. Sucker reportedly had 1 mile wide base at times. It was awesome and scary all at the same time.

Saw a guy on a bike ride through an intersection while I was at a stop light, and he was hit so hard by a TARC bus, his shoes flew off and he flew off the bike into a telephone pole. His head was wide open and grey matter was all over the sidewalk.

When I was a in 3rd grade my mom worked at a bank and had to stay late on fridays, so I would always ride the bus home on that day every week. I had a key to our house sewn in my backpack where I couldn't lose it.

When I got home I was by myself inside with all the doors locked and I heard a knock on the door. I walked to the door and it was a man standing there looking through the window at me wearing an all black suit with a white shirt on underneath, similar to what Will Smith wore in Men in Black. He pulled his shades down from his eyes just enough so that I could see his pupils and smirked at me, winked, and walked back to his black crown victoria parked in my driveway where another man dressed the exact same way was leaning on the car smoking a cigar or a cigarette. I ran to my room and got my BB gun and hid in the closet till my mom got home a few hours later.

I was scared at the time, but looking back now I always wonder just what in the hell those guys wanted. I've never seen them before or since that day.

Yeah, I remember that. It has happened a few times actually. Wasn't it an Indian grad student a few years back?

That was my first observation of dindu activity in BR. Since then I've been robbed 2x at gunpoint and walked in on a robbery in broad daylight. Safe to say I'm ready to graduate.

Okay the fight I get, but god damn, where did you get robbed twice and witness a robbery? I've lived in BR my entire life and never seen a violent crime.

Woke up around 3am one night when I lived in Wilmington with this huge black dude standing over my bed. One of my roomies had left the front door unlocked and he was high on crack and just walked in.

When I woke up, I was obviously startled and scared as frick. Then he starts undressing and says, "I've been watching you sleep for a while." I seriously thought I was going to die that night.

Another roommate heard me talking and said she could tell I was terrified by the sound of my voice and then she heard him. She called 911 and the police got there before he actually did anything to me other than scare the holy fricking hell out of me. I just kept thinking, "THIS is how I'm going to die? Really???"

Needless to say, I wanted to kill the roommate who left the damn front door unlocked. Hearing that guy tell me he'd been watching me sleep for a while was just freaky as hell...especially with him actively undressing at the same time.

Definitely getting pushed across a small room by a ghost. Our restaurant was the idled in town and building was even older. We always had a good bit of supernatural activity. Usually it was a family member or a ghost cat that was seen. Everyone always talked of seeing an old man in our back dining room. I had never seen him but the story was he wasn't a good person. All I can presume is that I was him. I was prepping for the night shift by myself. I went up to the bar to refill my drink. When I was coming through the swinging doors that separated the FOH from the BOH I was forcefully oushed across the small room into our salad cooler. At first I thought it was one of my cousins hiding behind the door. After finding the place empty and the doors locked I figured it was something supernatural and got out of there. Later that night I went and checked the security camera and nothing was behind the door when it happened.
