I love dark beer, but only because the imperial stouts are like 9%+ ABV. Tasty and you get twice the buzz.
I don't know why, but Bud/Coors/Miller give me bad heart burn. I literally can't have more than one or two.

My opinion is that beer is an unfinished product. Everyone knows you make beer and then distill it into Whiskey!
All kidding aside, I find beer snobs to be the plebeians of beverage snobbery. Wine snobs are usually fakes who don't know anything (anecdotally about 85% don't know much).

Local store has 6/16 oz. Coors for $3.99. That's what I've been drinking for the past month. When that goes away, it will be back to

I think he's mad how beer snobs either look down on those who like to drink beer from the big three and/or how they continually tell you how the IPAs and stouts are better.
Beer snobs are the atheists, vapers, and crossfitters of the beer world.
ETA I know there are plenty of better tasting beers out there. I just happen to like Miller lite and stores always have it. Sometimes I don't feel like spending 15 minutes deciding on what kind of beer I want

the flip side to this is that a lot of times, especially here in LA, if you order anything other than "the big 3", you immediately get called a fig or pussy or whatever else they can think of

I never have, but my friends aren't assholes either. Also, that seems to be changing as more and more people are starting to get into beer tasting.

Bud Light, Miller Lite & Silver Bullet drinkers are snobby as anybody. They are usually the ones running around yelling "BUD LIGHT ROCKS WOOOOOOOOO" and shite like that. I'll drink the shite out of the Champagne of Beers and Banquet Beers and the occasional Natty Fatty even but given the choice I'd take a SN Torpedo or an Oatmeal Stout.
