Yeah or being pretentious. I imagine in reality there isn't a whole lot of difference in socio-economic status on these boards

Is this where the super secret Ghost delivery information will be posted?

I really enjoy trying new craft beers. A lot of them are great. I'm not into self torture though, so no IPAs for me.
That said, I fricking love Shiner Bock. I don't care how widespread it is or how much they make. That shite is good.

I like Shiner Bock. Very well-rounded beer. Ziegenbock is pretty good too, it's made by Anheuser-Busch so it's considerably cheaper at market. It doesn't give me headaches like Budwater.

Only in braille.

Annoying.
Suspicious.
Anyone who has ever drank Dixie (or Jax or Falstaff for that matter) is forever immune to the accusation of beer snobbery. That being said, I am a plebian beer snob.

Someone downvoted my original post. The craft beer cartel is everywhere.

Are you implying that wanting to try new restaurants is non-masculine?

Of course it is.

The truth from Kujo
It all started when no child was left behind
everyone in college, no jobs waiting, white kids moved to the projects
They moved into the area because they have low/no paying jobs, but then how/why did they create a bar of $6+beers?
When the first wave moved in, they were the poorest of the poor white educated. They bought from goodwill"see hipster style", they drank "PBR" because it was CHEAP!
as more moved in, the neighborhood got better as they displaced more of the minorities
Then consequently the newer waves were less and less poor as the neighborhood was more and more white. Howvever, unlike the early movers that HAD TO move to that neighborhood, the newer whites chose to move to that neighborhood.
Here's the split. Before, original "hipsters" who drank PBR and lived off nothing met the "richsters" who wanted to be as eclectic and be as "forward/trend", but they didn't want to go to places where they might mingle with the "natives".
Here's where the common ground was met, the "richsters" could be eclectic, and hip, if the places were higher enough in price that would keep the "real poor" out.
$6+/Beer, $10 flat breads, etc.....keep the undesirables out
and that's the truth, it's all an ego gimmick created by the newest generation of white flighters.
embrace styles and tastes that keeps you away from ....

Always throw out somewhere new to try. Even our good friend hasn't been to the James Beard nominated restaurant in the neighborhood, and SHE keeps talking about it.
