I like ipa's, but usually after about 2 or 3 of them I'm ready to switch to something lighter

you can laugh, but that is from people that train themselves to be able to detect subtle flavors

Local store has 6/16 oz. Coors for $3.99

MGD/MGD Lite 12 pack bottles for $6.50

not to mention countless bottles of wines(shiraz, malbecs, cabs, etc) for ~$4(one of those is about a 6-pack), seen them as low as $3/bottle(3 for $9 special- Charles Shaw (use to beTwo-Buck Chuck)

I poured some Olde English for a friend from Tulane who didn't know what I had given him, and he complemented it. To his credit, when I told him, he said that he didn't care, and it taste better than he remembered in high school and kept drinking it. Versus something like saying he was just being nice and he thought it was horrible.

I hypothesized that his tongue had been burned by so many craft beers, that Malt Liquor wasn't as harsh to him anymore.

Don't like beer. Don't drink beer. Don't care what anyone else drinks. To each their own.

Assuming you're at a craft beer or upscale bar, ordering a Bud is the equivalent of ordering chicken nuggets at Galatoire's.

Aren't you fancy?

Never been to a craft beer bar. I've ordered Bud at upscale bars and never received so much as a raised eyebrow from the bartender.

And if you're upscale, you wouldn't have shite bartenders to begin with.

Doesn't make it less of a stupid statement. Tasteless is a word. It means something. You're using it wrong.
