What's the OT lounges opinion on letting their teens see Jaws in IMAX

They'll think it's silly. The shark looks ridiculous.

My parents told me that they brought me to the theaters when it came out but I was too young too remember.
So I was 3 when I saw it for the first time in theaters.

Did they remake Jaws as a porno? I’m confused.

I think I was 6 or 7 when I watched it. You should let yours watch Friday the 13th III in 3D as well.

I had the book “Terror At Sea”. They had the title right. Unimaginable horror.

While they were bobbing around waiting to be torn apart, the life jackets they had were steadily becoming waterlogged, pulling them down ever so slowly, and they couldn’t untie the knots with their watersoaked fingers.

However, my wife thinks the movie is too scary for them to handle.

I went to see it when it originally came out…..on vacation at Panama City Beach.

I still won’t get in the fisking ocean.

It kinda freaked me out for water I can't the bottom in. I'm fine on the water but I'm really not interested in swimming around in it.

No wonder kids today are such pussies. I remember watching Jaws when I was... 5.. 6 years old.. Maybe younger.

Dude will be legally allowed to operate machinery at 75mph in three years and your asking if it’s ok if he sees Jaws?

Jaws is tame for a 13 year-old. I saw The Exorcist at 12 (lady at the ticket counter did ask my buddy’s dad if he was ok with this). Was expecting the typical Saturday afternoon horror flick-boy were we surprised.

I can’t think of anything cooler to a 13 yr old kid then seeing someone get eaten by a shark. If you really want to level up, surprise them with a beach trip the next day!

13 is old enough to see Jaws. Most of my generation were younger than that when we first watched it.

In the early 80’s, my mom and mawmaw would leave my siblings and me (elementary school age) with my dad and pawpaw while they went to town to go shopping. They’d watch “Jaws” or “Alien” or “Rambo” and let us kids watch. I turned out fine.

On second thought…

My 8 and 10 year old watched it and thought it was funny. Not scary one bit. They see scarier shite on YouTube.
