I saw Jaws with my parents at 7. I remember when the head popped out of the hole in the boat, my mom jumped and dumped her drink all over my Dad! Lol...

Considering all children are exposed to in today's culture and social media.... Jaws is nothing. Today kids have internet and can easily access whatever they search.

Watching the movie should be the least of her concerns. No thirteen year old wants to see jaws. Little Igloo is going to be finger banging little Susie in the back row.

They're 13 not 5. It'll probably scare the shite out of them, but it'll be good for them.

Teen? My 8 year old’s favorite movies are Abe Lincoln Vampire Slayer and 6 Headed Shark Attack. I’d be totally fine with his older brother watching Jaws on imax.

Jaws is not an inherently scary movie. A 13 year old would be fine.

My tweens and I just got back from an outing watching Jaws.

They had an awesome time and loved it. It was the good kind of scare. Quints death was the worst part. Not so much scary as gruesome.

The jump scare with the dead body in the boat got them.

I highly recommend going to see it on the big screen while you can. The tickets were super cheap too, only $3.30

To scary, have they seen any Jurassic park movies? Or marvel movies?
