Helped the wife straighten up the house, cook a little, wrap presents.
But then I went and picked up a present for myself: my rebuilt 2003 Kaw ZRX1200R from the shop. Which I will ride later this afternoon.
After which I'll ride another present to myself, an AMFLOW Carbon PL. I just got it on sale, weighs 45 lbs with the strongest Class 1 EMTB motor made.

Drinking bourbon, lounging on the Lanai, listening that SiriusXM road trip radio. They are playing all the best Christmas music. Truly amazing how many good Christmas songs there were before late 1990s.

Son is at the hospital till 6 so meeting at my Mom’s for gumbo and gifts at 7. Kids are grown so I don’t have to assemble anything tonight thank God. Relax with some drinks back at home tonight and watch Christmas Vacation with the wife and daughter.

Sitting here in shithole Africa about to go to bed. Working a job I hate so I can pay for child's college w/o loans. Just a regular day in a Muslim country. Ready to finish my contract & go home for good. I have a countdown on my computer.

Just took a pecan pie out of the oven. About to do a workout. Christmas Eve dinner at my brother’s - daube and spaghetti as per tradition. I still have to get to the grocery for some wine for tonight (thinking a Brunello di Montalcino) and for tomorrow’s filet roast (maybe a medium body Merlot. I’ll see what they have.)

We usually have the annual family Christmas gift exchange party at our house, but my son came down with the flu after wrestling in a tournament in Florida.. So we're hanging out at the house watching old school Christmas cartoons on the tube. I'm currently drinking a large glass of Jack and egg- nog. Weird being quiet at the house..

Mass at 4, opened presents and about to feast. Tomorrow starts much earlier but hopefully done by 5. Too old for this. Ready to move to Boca Boca.
