Guy who owns the land behind my house is putting in a fence to put cows on his property and wanted to make sure his survey is right about the property line.
Went to look at the property line and ended up with a deal for me to buy the patch of woods between my property and his open field instead.
That was the last side of my house not protected against future development.

I mastered throwing a 10' cast net. Caught over 75 shad in a single throw.

That’s better than I did in Montana. All I caught was a three pound whitefish while everybody else caught trout. (I’m happy though. They all caught their trout in exactly the spots I told em to fish. Made amateur me look like a pro guide in their eyes and I ain’t telling em any different!)

I wrote some software to do something simple. I didn't think much of it, honestly. Some folks found out about it and tried to buy it on the spot.
Me and a friend developed it into a fully commercial application across the last two years.
We pitched it to a company this week that has a global footprint. I think they are going to pull the trigger. They will be our first official user. If I can do this a couple of more times, I can "retire" and not look back.
