Seems like everytime I’m out I see at least 5-6 speed traps. Do these douchebags have nothing better to do? I have never been in a state where cops try to hide their vehicle and set up speed traps as often as they do in Louisiana.

Sucks for towns like Vidalia, Golden Meadow, and tickfaw. They will always be shitty because nobody wants to live there since the cops are douchefricks

Hwy 90 is so bad with the speed traps. It’s been a while since I’ve gone that way, but I think there’s a 3 mike stretch where it goes from 55 to 45 to 35 back up to 45 and then eventually 60 lmao.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't slow down and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

The black fricking SUVs in St. John Parish (I-10 and I-55) are terrible. If you're not on high alert they're hard to see until it's too late.

Louisiana is my least favorite state to drive through. It feels like one giant speed trap.

I normally do 5-10 over depend if it’s a highway or interstate. Can’t help it when it goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in matter of half a mile.

I mean what else is there for a cop to do in a small town where nothing ever happens?

You've clearly never been to NY, those frickers are all over I-81 or 90 hiding between every bush or rock. Your tax dollars at work

If you think that's bad, try getting a inspection sticker ticket from a BRPD officer with blacked out windows and no inspection sticker. I don't mind being protected and served in the name of public safety but goddamn dude at least go get a sticker if you're going to write other people up for having an expired one.

Purposely setting up situations to trap people into speeding tickets, in part by fluctuating the speed limit ostensibly just to be able to trick motorists, doesn't exactly seem like it is in the spirit of the law. You seem naive.

I've found Florida to be the worst. Plus they are set up so they nail tourists who don't know any better.

The new thing where I live is for cops to have their cop decals be the same color as the car itself. Basically, it is a white car with white "Police" going across it.
