Best that I have is a Year 2000 racing ATV.

Basically when I was young I had a matching bike to my friends 4 wheeler. We rode together for many years all over the state.

In 2006 he got in a terrible car wreck and lost his life. About a year later I got word that his parents were selling his ATV. I talked to my wife and I decided to buy it just for sentimental value. I still have it to this day and will never entertain selling it for any amount of money. I do take it out every so often and ride it to bring back the good memories.

I have a Tilley T3 bush hat given to me many years ago. It has followed me to many parts of the world in all kind of environments. It is slam worn out and though it carries a lifetime warranty, I can’t make myself send it in for a replacement.

A Buck knife my dad gave me for Christmas as a kid. It has my name and the date engraved on it. My dad is gone now and I've had that knife for over 35 years now and I think of him every time I see it.

To answer, I’m weird in that way so I have a lot.

Arrowhead found with my Grandpa when I was little.

Pirate challenge coin, the twin of my daughter’s, from our trip to DW when she was little (and never again).

Stuffed musical bee from sons baby playmat.

Bunch more like those.

I have my grandfather’s hammer he had since building his first house after WW2. I’m constantly having to tighten the head on it but makes for a decent inside hammer. That handle has been through so much it’s like wooden art to me. Wouldn’t give it up for the world.

Cool story, baw. I am glad the snake made its way back. You need to write the history down for your boy.

I'm currently wearing the first watch my father ever bought with his own money. Besides being old it's not worth much but if I'm lucky I'll get to pass it to my favorite son.

I’ve got 2 brass shotgun shells put together that my great grandfather used to hold matches. He’d start fire when he strip down to retrieve birds, dry off and get dressed again. When I found it, it had 2 bird bands in it.

My Grandpa gave me an old Colt Colteer .22 he bought right when he got home from Korea. Pre-serial numbers on firearms. I shoot it 4-5 times a year simply for sentimental sake. I’ve told Mrs. Cotten it’s useless for anything other than teaching Cotten Jr. to shoot and sentimental value so just bury me with it.

Put those pics in the cloud brother. I keep two HD’s and rotate them. One at a friends house and swap them occasionally. I also have a cloud copy that updates automatically.

My niece brought me a small smooth stone from near the base of Pointe du hoc, overlooking Omaha beach in Normandy, France. It's not much to look at it could be a rock from anywhere but knowing where it came from means a lot to me because she knows I am a huge World War II buff and it made a cool souvenir for her Uncle

Watch, while “valuable” the value is irrelevant because it will never be sold. My dad grew up with nothing and when he made a few dollars he bought the watch. He only wore it on special occasions. Everytime I saw it I would ask him why he didn’t wear it all the time. His response was always “you can have it when I’m dead.” Whelp… I feel like it’s a my penance in a way.

My grandmother's bread board, that she used for kneading bread. It was part of her kitchen when they came back to her home town and built their first and only home.
It's a piece of plywood with a strip of pine across the front and a handle that matched the rest of the kitchen.

She made great yeast bread and that skill skipped a generation.

I have an acorn that my daughter gave me when she could barely walk. We were at city park and she picked it up and handed it to me. I eventually had that acorn mounted and it is protected by a plastic cube.

It is the second most important thing in my life, only eclipsed by the little girl who gave it to me.
