What would your childhood self think of what you've become?

Would they be impressed by your job, car, spouse? Disappointed that you didn't accomplish certain goals?

I would laugh at my job but be impressed with who I married. I’d be thrilled to know a normal, attractive woman CHOSE to marry me under no duress and that I have kids with her and a nice home.

My childhood self wouldn’t believe the job I have now and that I never overdosed on weed

7 year old me: Probably disappointed

But my high school self would love where/what I'm doing these days.

Considering my young childhood self was adamant about being a school bus driver, I think he would be please that I didn't become one.

Yeah, there were times in my life that no one could predict how good I’d have it, pretty blessed...

I'm gonna be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Thought true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the Pretender.
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender.

Probably shocked so see we made it. Child RTS thought the world would be destroyed in a nuclear exchange and had no expectations for adulthood.

Disappointed.

He wouldn't understand the curveballs of life.

ETA: he'd like the money, the toys, the guns, the vehicles. He wouldn't understand the tiny home.

He would be terrified to learn how few people are left alive.

I think he'd be very scared to be honest.
