36 with my first kid due at the end of March, I'll turn 37 a few weeks after. Would have loved to have kids at a younger age but just wasnt in the cards. The way I look at I'll be able to afford to do so many more things with my son that wouldn't have been possible without the extra income that came later in life.

7 year old me would be upset I wasn't a power forward in the NBA on the downslope of a hall of fame career.

15 Year Old me would be impressed with the wife, since we went to high school together and both had a little ugly duckling syndrome. We didn't date until4 years after high school. He would say my job is boring but my paycheck is awesome.

Extremely disappointed.

I was going to become a marine biologist, live in a pink house, and drive a pink Corvette like Barbie. FML.

ETA: I actually just used a Jurassic Park analogy when explaining epitope mapping, so I'M BACK IN THE GAME!

I think I'd be pretty satisfied, other than the shock of being married to a 50 yr old woman, followed quickly by the revulsion of looking in the mirror.

I have never been a goal-setter. I am impetuous, always have been. I don't think child me would give two thoughts about me now. But, I think little me would look up to older me, if I could get her to sit still for a second.

Childhood me would be disappointed I’m not a doctor or something, but extremely impressed that I married someone athletic and handsome and live in a cute house.

My childhood self desperately wanted to be a janitor so he'd probably be confused as frick hearing an explanation of what I do now.
