Pull out my firearm and start the boat. I've had unknown boats approach at night in the Gulf before and did just this.

It’s a shame nearly all Nations other than America don’t allow people on boats to carry guns to protect against pirates.
And I know the OT will just say “Hide the guns from the Bahamian (or whoever) government officials and boat inspectors, but those guys find guns for a living.

Videos like this make me wish he just broke out a thompson or a full auto AR15 and sprayed the pirates away. shite a sawed off 12 gauge would have done wonders here as well.

Good for those two for their actions, but I also notice how much time was spent telling the audience about the additional videos they are going to release about this. So while I'll assume this is actually true (it could very easily not be), a lot of this seems to be for likes and clicks.
Is it illegal or something to carry weapons on international waters? I'm trying to think of any sane reasons as to why someone traveling like this would choose to not be armed with small weaponry at the very least.
