Also, why is this an issue if you are in Sevierville?

Just plan an alternate route on your way home.

I would not let this gas mess with your vacation. Make a plan as you leave Tennessee. I made the drive over Christmas break from Nashville to Myrtle Beach. Plenty of small town gas station options for you, in my opinion. If you're staying on the beach, you shouldnt be driving a ton once in Myrtle Beach anyway, correct?

Also, isnt North Carolina the one with the bigger fuel problem currently? If I recall as well, there are some small towns once you exit off of I-95 headed to Myrtle.

We will be flying out the Monday after next. We go to Myrtle every year...Personally, I enjoy the area and definitely wouldnt let this mess interrupt my vacation plans if I were you.

Buy two or three gas cans. Fill them up in Tennessee. Fill up your tank as soon as you can before leaving Tennessee. Drive to the condo. Enjoy your visit. Try to get normal gas. If not, use your two or three cans.

Colonial Pipeline restarts after hack, but supply chain won’t return to normal for a few days

Colonial Pipeline restarted operations Wednesday at approximately 5 p.m. ET after a ransomware attack last week forced the entire system offline on Friday evening. The company did warn, however, that its pipeline would not be fully functional immediately.

“Following this restart it will take several days for the product delivery supply chain to return to normal,” Colonial said in a statement. “Some markets served by Colonial Pipeline may experience, or continue to experience, intermittent service interruptions during the start-up period. Colonial will move as much gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel as is safely possible and will continue to do so until markets return to normal,” the company added.

damned good question. use gasbuddy and see if there is gas on interstates to SC. call each station for current status.

they just opened the pipeline (SEE NCTigah's Poli thread) but rumors it takes awhile to flow-but who knows what to believe-my Gov is a democrat.

Just drive 100 mph the whole way. You’ll improve your fuel economy so much you won’t need to fill up.

I'm working in a small town not far from Dirty Myrtle and there is no gas anywhere to be found here. I've got enough to make it back to Charleston tomorrow and my arse is staying there.

Fill up where you can and bring extra and avoid the lines. Gas cans are cheap

Having to rely on the gas cans they sell nowadays would just piss you off and ruin a vacation.

If you buy new ones, bring a funnel so you can bypass their new and improved caps/spouts.
