I won't name the facility but I was having my company vehicle checked on the way through the gate and asked the guard if they knew exactly what they were looking for.

Immediately wished I could take the questions back. The Guard caused a scene, higher ranking guards showed up, they caused a scene, It almost cost me access to that site.

Lowes my first two years. Then a forklift driver/marina supervisor for a couple of gated communities on Lake Oconee for my last two years. Hated Lowes, loved the marina tips and hot housewives in bikinis is definitely a good way to spend your summers. Winter was slow so gave me plenty of time to study and get paid for it.

My roommate called us “plasma whores”. I still have a scar on my arm and an underlying fear that I caught some unidentified disease from the place.

LSU Vet school delivering mail. Used to have to open and check in all packages. It was right after 9/11 so I always had it in the back of my mind I would open a box of anthrax. It was mostly, vitamins and steroids for the animals and always the occasional dead fox or raccoon. Did a brief stint at Eddie Bauer Cortana Mall. That was culture shock for a coonass from South La

Having to take my shirt off in front of a cute nurse for a check up before donating plasma for the first time is what inspired me to get in shape.

Waited tables at O'Henry's in Metairie. It was a bitch driving back and forth to LSU all the time but my brother was the manager so we had a blast.

Coach middle school football at U-High and was a supervisor at the UREC. Parlayed the UREC job into a graduate assistantship and continued until I finished grad school!

University Plasma Center
LSU Accounting Office in T. Boyd Hall
Bussed tables that turned into a bartending job
Occasionally checked ID's at the Happy Note

I enjoyed them all, but was glad to get out of school so I could just have 1 job.

Had several of them, but the one I had the longest was working for UPS in Port Allen. If you hit 20 hours a week they reimbursed your tuition.
