I started out of high school and took any job I could get.

While in school had a contract with a few friends to cleaned up bars, collected the cans, and take them to the recycler.
Good straight cash job.
We were paid cash and got to recycle the cans for cash.
Back then we got alot of free Billy Beer.
This was back when former President Jimmy Carter's brother promoted the beer.

Summers in construction for my Uncle's company working with the with survey crews, then concrete finishing crew, and then framing crews. I learned alot about the construction business.

Met a good looking blonde female Army Recruiter, she took a bunch of guys out to drink, and somehow joined the Army.
Beer and blonde good looking female Army recruiters are bad.

Worked for IT at my college. I just wasn’t a jackass compared to my peers and got promoted to make $8 an hour in the late 90s early 2000’s. That was banking.

Accidentally turned it into a career.

Sports Information Department

This was pre-Internet.

It may be easier now, but it was a lot of tedious work coming up with all kinds of obscure sports stats back then.

I had a quarter life crisis and took a part time job with a SI department keeping scores at my alma mater. It was a lot of fun.

Keeping stats in volleyball was hell. But Goode heavens the view.

One time calling a FB game the RB ran from the 40ish yardline to the other 40ish yardline and I said #XX ran 8 yards to the 56 yardline and the radio play by play guy repeated me and the turned and gave me a WTF look.

Did some small engine repair. Cut some grass the old fashioned way. Served at a diner. Mostly biscuits and mustard

Warehouse for associated grocers, recoup department. Was easy job, let me study when we were slow, just had to stand at all times and wear steal toe heavy boots. But fine otherwise, boring job.

Tattoo artist. I loved that gig when I was young. Looking back now, I dealt with a lot of trash. Only time I ever pulled a gun on someone was while working there. If I hadn’t married so young, I would probably be dead from some VD I caught banging strippers.

Do not miss it.

Worked nights at Movie Gallery, unloaded product from trucks in a warehouse during the day, and played live music in and out of bands on the weekend. About the last half of school I cut grass in the summertime.
