Only riding on my indoor trainer right now. The last thing I need is to crash and get stuck in an ER next to COVID coughers.

I was riding last week, and an old dude passed me so close I could touch him.. I screamed at him for his lack of social distance.

Santa brought me this Xmas of 1965 (but red in color).

I did not treat it kind but it was durable.

I ride a specialized "crossroads" hybrid I purchased new in 1994. Last year I went completely through it and replaced most of the stuff on it. It looks brand new even though it's older than most of the folks that post here.

I've ridden GTs my entire life. I currently ride a GT carbon fiber road bike I built up last year. Before that I was riding a 20 year old aluminum GT road bike that the US Olympic team road in '96. I have another 5 old GT mountain bikes and road bikes including a TT bike.

An ancient Trek 8300.

I should get a new bike, but I'm attached.

Stupid question - is a single speed the same thing as fixed gear?

No, a single speed you can stop pedaling and coast. While a fixed gear you cannot stop pedaling and the only way to get the cranks to stop turning would be to come to a stop

Zwift. I tried setting up with RGT Cycling since it's free, but it wasn't playing nice with my Kinetic trainer

I love my Specialized Tarmac. Has the SRAM Etap groupset. It's a blast. I rode my Aluminum frame GT ZR into the ground and finally upgraded a year ago.

A Raleigh Venture. Not a high dollar bike but for 50 bucks at an estate sale, it’s fine for the causal rider like myself.

I might get a single speed for my next bike then. I don't need 21 gears.

My wife has a cruiser with 7 gears, and she doesn't even need those.
