Try not to sleep past 6. Left at 7:30 to get in a lift before the day’s activities. I was told those who sleep past 7 tend to be both physically and mentally weak

So that's why PT is usually dead until about 8. Makes sense.

5-6am.

I’ve never understood or respected a grown man that ‘sleeps in’

Damn you early morning braggers are insufferable. Always trying to one up each other.
“I get up at 6
Well I get up at 5:30
I slept in late until 5:00
I get up at 4:00 during the week but sleep in til 4:30 on the weekend “

Just take it to the GMT and end it

I can't blame it on kids. Our youngest is 16 and sleeps til noon.

I just can't sleep in anymore. I'm awake when the sun starts coming up usually.

I was snoozing until 8:15, Saturdays are deliciously uncomplicated currently, due to 2 kids out of the house and a 16 year old on summer break. Sunday, we'll be back up before 7:30 for church.

Decades of early to rise with kids as toddlers or sports on Saturday mornings, I'll be lazy when I can, it's earned.

The cat wakes me up promptly at 6:00 every day. I feel her kitty breath and open my eyes and she is sitting there, about four inches away from my face just watching. When I move, she heads for the kitty treat jar, and then the door to the screen porch when I start making coffee. She is so very reliable I threw away the alarm clock.

When bad weather comes through, she walks back and forth across me until I wake up. Better than the US Weather Bureau warning system, or the city tornado warning sirens.

If nothing is going on, she leaves us alone until 6:00 am.
