The funny part is none of you get it. I repeat the same shite over and over again and the same crew of posters, including you, get worked up over it every single time.

It's too easy

Like this thread.

See how easy it is to get you to go off?

how about going out and getting a temporary, part-time job?

The only problem is some organizations like the Coast Guard will court martial anyone AWOL (i.e. they have to show up for work without pay or they can go to prison).

The news is playing up the "victim card" on these people...

I saw a federally employed woman interviewed the other day, said she couldn't go to the emergency room or the doctor because she didn't have insurance with the shut down...

Almost every credit union is offering no interest loans for people affected by the shutdown. I don't really understand the hardship.

Well, you obviously don't know what they are going through. These people have families, bills, mortgages.

Kids lunches or rent?

Electricity or tuition?

Chemo or rent?

Until you're in their shoes, shut up and sit down.

What sucks is the essential employees...

Work 40 hours a week

Can't draw unemployment

Can't work temporary job.

And no clear indication of how long this will last to help plan for it.

I'd be very careful shitting on people with the personal stuff they've shared here.

You're eventually going to piss off the wrong person. You're not nearly as anonymous as you think you are.

You're right because I started saving from my very first paycheck.

The shutdown is now more expensive than the wall. Thanks, Nancy.
