Pretty sure you can't go wrong with some Vineyard Vines polos.

I like VV and gravitated to it even though I haven't been into the VV brand since it was popular in college. I'll buy some other polos, mainly Peter Millar, but VV is the most reliable for me.

The VV on the go (synthetic) slacks are awesome too. I've been a synthetic-only polo guy and a cotton-only (or wool) slack guy for a while, but these have changed my mind.

I feel like their cut generally is better, no? Unless you want to look like the typical OT'er who wears a size that is at least two sizes too big for them and the "short" sleeves fall below the elbow.

i like mine to fit tighter and not be boxy so i dont like polo brand. I find they are cut like a typical OTer likes.

i also hate typical cotton knit.

The banana republic outlet usually has some decent polos for cheap. I've been wearing free fly lately and love them. My cousin's business sells them and he let's me order them at coat. Bamboo is an awesome fabric.

How did we make it this many pages without these two timeless memes not making an appearance?

A certain demographic has started to wear polo so naturally it’s changed.

I gravitate more toward vineyard vines and brooks brothers.

I just buy Hanes solid polos now. Generally $8-$9 for one. They are cheap and fit me nice.

It’s really about the cut with polos. They all fit diff.

Vineyard Vines is great but I've aged out their demo. Late 30s you got to transition to something else...

Brooks Brothers for working professionals.

what? Bro you got BO and just blaming it on the shirt honestly have never had any of mine stink. ever.

I notice this with my underarmor polo. My pits start sweating and smelling in the car ride. Doesn’t happen with the cotton or cotton mixed polos.

Glad someone said they stink when wearing performance material. Was starting to think it was just me. I wear clinical strength anti perspirant too. Only cotton for me. Never put them in the dryer. Driers are hard on your clothes. We only dry socks, undies and towels. Everything else hang dries.

Performance fabric is made out of plastic, AKA not breathable. frick wearing a plastic shirt when it's hot as ball outside in a casual /business casual setting.

Really? So every single athletic clothing company that has invested and made billions off tech fabrics are just dumbasses? As are all the professional sports teams…
Have you ever even worn something like a Nike DriFit?

I like dri fit athletic shirts. Under armour, Nike, even BCG. But dri fit material just doesn’t seem right for a polo. I can’t bring myself to purchase one.

Same thing happens wearing the authentic soccer jerseys, the ones the players actually wear. Massive bo stench from my pits.

Again, doesn’t happen to me wearing a t shirt or cotton polo.
