what kind of pet poop scooper have you used?

There are a lot of forums on this website but I didn't see a pet forum.
My wife and I have never taken our dog anywhere we'd need one but if this virus ever breaks we may take her with us occasionally when we travel for a couple or 3 days rather than boarding her.
I see some that are basically a small rake and pan, and I see some that they call jaw scoops that evidently don't require a pan.
What you think?

Just put your hand inside the bag to pick it up and then tie it off. Unless you just enjoy walking around with a pooper scooper

Who cleans that rake and pan after use?
Not me. I use a bag. Buy at pet store in small container that attaches to leash.

I use the jaw type at the house. Wouldn't travel with it though unless you want to constantly clean it after each use

2 bags from HEB. My hand in one to pick it up. The other to put it all in. Both bags go in the garbage.

I carry a wally world platic bag and some paper towels whenever I take the derg out walking. She's teacup yorkie so her turds are small.

I was talking to a guy about picking up dog shite the other day while we were walking our respective dogs. Neither of us remember seeing people walking around carrying bags of their dog's shite while out for a walk until around 2000. Def don't remember it in the 70s-80s. And I doubt most of the 90s.

When I work from home I see people let their dogs piss directly on my neighbor’s house. Some people are just trashy pieces of shite.

Yeah best method IMO:
One bag around your hand, pick up the poop. Put that bag on ground. Put second bag around your hand and pick up bag #1.
No mess and smells better.
I buy the green bags from Amazon, they last forever.

why not just recycle the grocery bags? Are the green ones you describe grocery bags or smaller for pet poop?
