ETA- I still remember getting the Schwinn Tornado. I was so freaking excited!
And then I had a Kasaka BMX. Google can't even find a pic, but it was bad arse and 13 lbs-ish.

Redline, don't remember the model but I had skyway rims and after market 3 piece cranks with fiber seat. Probably put 1 million miles on that bike

Schwinn Stingray in the early, early days, then a Mongoose, then a Redline Proline back around 1980 - when they were still the REAL Redlines and you had them custom built. My brother pretty much started the BMX craze in St. Bernard around 1977. Had a Mongoose before kids knew what a Mongoose was.
