Don't ask for advice here. Most of the OT doesn't even know the first thing about making babies, much less raising them.
frick you, a-hole. I've seen a lot of PornHub videos.

It’s a legit question, champ.

Congrats! My theory was that I figured I was of average intelligence and there is some pretty stupid people in this world who manage to raise kids and not kill'em.

Baby poop defies gravity. Or have now been warned.

Does she know who the dad is?

Congrats!
I slept separate from my wife for the first few weeks since I had to wake up early for work.
After the first two weeks I would wake up once every night ro feed the baby with bottled breast milk. That was a big help for my wife.
Help out where you can. Cook and do laundry.
And yes take the MIL help as well. You can wait and be an OT male later by slapping your cock on the table and proclaiming your dominance

I was talking to a friend and he said the same thing. He was like “This dumbass raised a kid, and that dumbass raised a kid. If they can do it you will be fine”.

Much like a pitbull, ‘if you raise them right they will be fine’

Was blessed enough for us to have 3 healthy children.
My experience was very much as you described.
They are now between 17 and 24.
Enjoy the little things. They grow up real fast and before you know it, they are on their own.

What I’ve learned from being a dad for ten hours.
I don't know a whole lot more than that after 17 years. You'll be alright.

Congrats. And I can’t speak to the MIL issues (mine lives 8 hours away) but I had similar reactions when our daughter arrived.
No matter how much you tried to prepare, you don’t know anything until you’re changing a diaper at 4am with about 45 minutes worth of sleep and your kid won’t stop crying. Nothing can prepare you.
But you will survive. It’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, but haven’t broken her. Wish you the best.

His wife probably won’t want to though.
