It's been a while, but my opinion of them hasn't changed: Most of them can't change a flat.

I think a lot of these college teachers are entitled bubble dwellers who think they’re more important than they are, but they’re well within their right to bust you for being late and giving a quiz when they want.

Of course.

But you can call that person out for being late anyway.

These are all entirely reasonable. Shut up.

Professors aren’t middle school teachers. These people are experts in their research fields and many of them have real world experience. Salaries are a lot higher too.

My Mississippi History professor at MSU was a giant douchebag, but I wouldn't say he was rude.

The only encounter I ever had was with my first adviser at my community college. I emailed him asking to meet with him, but said that I had classes during his office hours. He replied back basically like, "Whelp, too bad."

Okay, that’s a dick move. Many of my profs would at least let me schedule appointments with them.

My son told me that his physics teacher/professor (not sure what he was) was super nice as far as a person -- if you made less than an 85 on homework though, you got a zero. Yep. A zero.

Had an English Lit professor, her rule was if you missed one class okay it happens, but if you missed a second one you would fail the course , regardless of reason for missing.

I went back to college after serving in Desert Storm , but was still active duty Army while doing so . I missed one day in her class due to being sick, I couldn't even get out of bed that day. The second day I missed due to the Army ordering me to report to Ft Dix for the day . When I came to the next class bitch told me "Mr __________ , you've failed this class you may as well go to the Registrar and drop the course while you can" I had a fricking A in the course at that point, I wasn't dropping. I appealed to the University and won, but the bitch gave me a C as my final grade even though I deserved an A, so I lost.

But then I fricked the bitch's 20 year old daughter like she was the last whore in whoreville. So I won.

I avoided her the rest of my educational experience. WHat a count.

Those that can, do.
Those that can’t, teach.

This have has never been more true than referring to college professors. The best one I had could still not have made in the business world and he was a smart guy. I actually had one professor, a lawyer, who taught business law, who admitted he could not handle the stress of a private law practice.

I had one that decided 6 weeks into the semester that we couldn't wear hats in his class.

I told him that when he paid me to be there and not the other way around he could tell me how to dress.
