What Is Your Favorite Bird?

I like the Bluebird.
Peaceful and serene, bluebirds are non confrontational. If provoked with aggressive behavior from other birds like wrens and starlings, they will abandon their nesting areas and move to other locations.
They also prefer not to nest in trees or wooded areas. They like open spaces where they can survey the landscape around them. A fence post on a pasture or meadow makes a perfect home for a bluebird.

Eagles. We have a lot of them here during fall and winter. They are something else to watch when they are fishing over the water. They hit that water full force and them come out of with a fish. Gives me the frissons.
