Love me a Killdeer. Have a unique sound, and giraffe legs that moves like a deer across the rocks. Also, you get by some of their eggs on the ground and they'll puff up like they're gonna whip that arse.

All these years and they still haven't learned to not make a nest in my driveway. They are cool to watch, though.

Australian Magpie. They dive bomb cyclists who get to close to their nests.

My parents have a couple hummingbird feeders. They are awesome to watch. They like to run each other off..

No. Osprey are much much smaller.

Eta...quick Google search shows I've been led astray.

I'll have to find out what bird I'm thinking of. I've only seen them in WA at marinas.

Well, I've had a Mexican Redhead parrot for 37 years, so I'll go with her. Local, Cardinals, hands down.

After Katrina, I lived in Gentilly and the lower 9th for awhile and just fell in love with the Quaker/Monk Parrot.

Love to watch wood ducks do their thing in a small creek.
Anybody ever seen a group of 10-12 woodies land in the woods on the bank? Pretty neat
