2 cats

Ralph - a cross eyed, grumpy retard but he likes me and is generally pretty chill.

Rascal. - the cute one, but has been so traumatized by our 5 year old that he just spends his time hiding all day. He is the most nervous cat I've ever seen.

while technically not pets we feed the anoles that hang around the porch and garage mealworms. They eat out of the kids’ hands
when my kids were small we went to visit their grandparents in Monroe and my son caught about 15 anoles and brought them home. We put them in a big habitat and they lasted quite awhile. Always fun to dump a bag of love crickets in and watch them go crazy.

1 is great. sweet. loving. would starve to death if you pet her long enough. she would just forget to eating. great with my kid

1 is the dumbest fricking creature to every walk the earth. Would leave you to die if there was a bowl of food nearby.

Used to have one, my son’s, and used to put him on the patio to get sun until he got out, it didn’t end well. Had to have that circle of life discussions.
I'll take him outside with me and put him in the cover patch so he can chow down but he's aware of everything. I took him out the other day and he cocked his head with his eye pointing straight up. I finally looked up and there was a hawk or some other large bird waaaaaaaaaaay up in the sky circling around.

The term head-on-a-swivel came to mind. He didn't miss that potential threat.

No pets. Way too anal about my house not smelling like piss or having hair everywhere.

3 year old chihuahua rescue mix who is the sweetest, loyalest girl ever, but she's crazy like me, so we get along great.

4 dogs:

Two blue heelers.
One Red Heeler Catahoula mix.
One Collie Lab mix.

Didn't plan on having 4. Really wanted only two but two rescues fell in my lap and I couldn't part with em.

Down to only 1 Chocolate Lab, he turns 5 today. Had to put down the old one a few months back and planning to get another pup soon. I usually have at least 2.

One beloved Sheepadoodle (as far as anyone can tell), 1.5 years old, from a large litter given to a rescue by the owners of a purebred female standard poodle they didn't keep a good enough of an eye on...

3 year old golden retriever. Sweet dog and excellent with the kids. But I’m not much of a pet person. I like animals, just don’t want em in the house.

We have 3 dogs and a cat. We are like the home of old arse animals.

Our mutt who is 14 just had a stroke about 10 days ago. Did an MRI and found out she has a tumor also. Vet said this is a rare occurrence with like a couple of dozen dogs having this combo in the last 10 years. Anyway, she is doing better. Just moving and thinking slow. We shall see.

Also have an 11 year yellow lab and her 8 year old sister (from another litter obviously). Both great dogs that we adopted after both their owners died.

Finally we have a 20 year old cat. She looks like something out of the Pet Sematary movie. We did a senior blood panel in April and they said her liver function had improved. She has outlived four dogs in our house. Pretty much sleeps and eats her way through the days.

Don't ask. We're over our heads in foster pets.
But, we love them all.

2 dogs both in their mid teens, both with some recent health problems.

I am really worried we are going to lose both around the same time and it sucks.

Three cats that I grew up with that live my parents. One of which is a big orange tabby with quite the personality.

My gf and I's cat passed away very recently due to severe GI bleeds. Vets had some theories but didn't know for sure why.

2 dogs that prefer me over Mrs. Iwy and a cat that pretty much views me as a peasant living in her castle.

My original Aussie died a month ago. Best dog I ever had - smart, protective and well-trained.

So, I have two dogs - a young, very athletic but somewhat ditzy Aussie (but she will stand up to a coyote or two) and a pit that someone dumped off at my house. I didn't want a pit, but when someone came to get her, she wouldn't go. She's a good dog who does well with the cows. She also has 100% recall no matter where she is.

Three turdcats, two barn and one in the house. The one in the house was pulled as a tiny kitten from the wheel well of my car during a huge storm. I was at the office with my old Aussie and she reacted to the kitten as I was putting her in the car. I took the kitten home in a box. In the morning, I looked in the box - no kitten. My old Aussie was a notorious cat killer. I assume the worst. I went over and saw that the kitten was happily sleeping on the Aussie's head. They were best friends.
