They hired the guy that ran Crocs, asked female influencers what they wanted and made it explode.
They purposely keep supply limited.
Saw a video recently on YouTube. Their revenue climbed like 10X the last 3-5 yrs.

I just tied to goolge img search old coleman thermos to find the one I grew up with, and the first three results are Stanley.
Apparently this is actually a thing.

If you have a teenaged daughter don’t try to understand it. Just buy the fricking thing and move on. It’s not worth the hassle.

I’m telling you, it’s the handles and how the small female hands like the Stanley handle. Yeti only recently added that pathetic excuse for a handle. Compare the two:

I love the cup fads over the last decade
First it was the Tervis Tumblers, those things were everywhere in all different sports teams and brands
Next it was the infamous Yeti cup, ice for days and the best corporate Christmas gift. No more plastic Tervis’
Next up was the sleek and downsized Swell bottle. Impossible to clean but promised to make the earth a better place
Next we’re onto the Hydroflask, because now we need wide mouth huge water bottles
And now here we are, the Stanley cup is next in line on the cup throne. Fits in cup holders and has a handle. Huge innovations lol

Combination of a really good product and an EXCELLENT marketing campaign.

Some woman thing called "Palentine's Day" instead of Valentines
You're clueless. It's Galentine's Day. That's the party for your girlfriends the day before Valentines. I have never heard of Palentine's.
Also, the pink ones were very recent (like a few weeks ago) and I guess people thought they'd be collectible because it's a Target/Starbuck's collab (talk about basic white bitch) and but they didn't start the Stanley fad.
I'm not a fan of the cups. I tried one and I don't like the feel of them. They are heavy. There are plenty better brands for the same or less money. I prefer the Owala and the Simple Modern. The Brumate is a true no spill cup as well and that's nice.

Maybe it's my New Iberia haircut talking, but once Yeti came out I got a couple and just stayed there.

It has a handle and fits in a car cupholder. That’s what I hear the women say.

I am out of touch but did recently buy a Stanley French press for making camp and coffee and it was well worth the 20 bucks.

Think I'll let this fad pass through and not get one.

I read somewhere someone got into a bad wreck and the Stanley cup survived. Stanley bought car owner a new car and then this kicked off. True? Idk. I didn’t care enough to research.
i believe a lady had a house fire and it burned her car, but when she got her stanley out of the car, it still had ice.
