re: What is the worst injury or pain you've been through?

Head first into the windshield and snapped my femur. The head hurt and all, but the physical therapy after a femur break is rough.

Also they drilled a hole through my leg for traction and had to irrigate a deep cut on my knee. That was more painful than the broken femur in the short term, but post-op and the first month of physical therapy on a broken femur is hell.

Been dealing with that for years. I'll be going along just fine, do a little physical work, and then out of nowhere feels like somebody's running a million volts through my lower back.

Had the tip of my pinky partially severed in a door jam while on vacation. Sewn back on in the ER. Lots of nerves in the finger. Good times!

I have to agree with you. If I start having roid problems again I think I’ll just stick a soldering iron up my a55. Couldn’t hurt any worse.

Broke my shin in 3 places, dislocated my knee, and tore my mcl dunking on a 8’ goal ??

Pain: Two weeks after appendectomy, woke up in other worldly pain. Literally put me on my knees, fetal position, dont breathe pain.

My intestines kinked like a hose. Just awful.

2 fractures in my face, one being an orbital bone fracture. The surgery required an incision under my eye and my skin to be pulled back and a titanium plate to be inserted so my eye didn’t fall back into my socket

When I woke up I immediately sat up and my whole face swole and I was in agonizing pain. I remember going through 80 extra strength Vicodin in like 4 days and they didn’t want to give me any more so they gave me 20 and said it had to last. frick, that shite hurt.

I second this. Had one in college. Thought I just had a zit on my butt and wouldn’t go to the dr. Ended up spending a week in the hospital.

I had 2 pilonidal cysts in 3 years....absolutely as described. They put me out both times to remove, one was size of small grapefruit. Only time I've ever had to wear a Kotex since had to heal from inside out.

Until I had 3 incidences of diabetic ketoacidosis due to taking Invokana for Type 2. Multiple hospital stays in ICU, abdominal pain was almost unbearable.

Then just last year, appendix actually ruptured while I was sitting in emergency room waiting are for 4-5 hours. Brutally painful

Please no kidney stones.

Ruptured Achilles on Feb10. Far worse than hip replacement! Looks like at least 6 months recovery after surgery.
