What is the worst/ best interview you've had and why?

Every time I feel I fricked up on an interview, I get asked for a second interview while when I feel I killed it, I never get a call back.
OT want to share any interview experiences they hated or enjoyed?
Should share experience: when I interviewed with my current company, went to final round but didn’t get it (internally promoted). 3 months later, get a all out of the blue asking me if I want the same position, was Good.

Some advice for the soon to be recent college grads looking for a job: if the job posting says no experience required and the interview feels like they're selling the company to you instead of the other way around, it's probably a shitty place to work.
Looking at you, Western and Southern Life Insurance.

When I interviewed at a job I really wanted, it lasted 6 hours, I met everyone in the department, took me to lunch, etc and the last guy I met with told me that I was the only one that they had done this with...
...and then they decided to just promote within.
frick them.

I was once given 15 different topics and told that I had to come up with a 5 minute impromptu speech/presentation on one of the items. The interviewer left the room for 15 minutes while I put together my speech.
It was weird, and I definitely didn't expect to have to do that, but I got the job.

Which kinda sums it up. In my experience their mind is usually made up before the interview based on resume, need, and connections.

Best Interview: The one for my current job. I don't know exactly what I did right, but I got the job.
Worst Interview: NASA astronaut. JSC Security escorted me out and I am still banned from all NASA facilities.

Worst was with Yamaha. 3 separate interviews and had to complete a questionnaire of tons of how would you handle this situation hypotheticals. Come to find out they were just shining me on to satisfy HR requirements. They already had an internal candidate picked out for the position.

That’s fricked up man. When I do all day interviews, I take pto so basically they are screwing my vacation time

Worst: went on a interview, got the job almost immediately and took it. Place was hell on earth. 6:30-5+ daily working most weekends even when not on call.
Best: thought i bombed the interview, didn’t get the job, get a call randomly a year later with the offer

This was a long time ago, when I was first looking for a job and applied anywhere and everywhere. I got a call from some company and got an interview lined up. The description and the person I talked to stressed HAVE A COPY OF YOUR RESUME.. I am usually the type who will bring more than I need just in case, I will usually keep 3 or 4 copies on hand just in case.
When I left the house that morning I grabbed my folder.. When I got there I realized I grabbed the wrong one, for some reason I just didn't check to make sure I had the right one so I didn't have a copy of my resume. When I went inside I asked the receptionist if there was any chance she could print a copy of my resume and she agreed. I had it in my email so she asked me to log into my email. My email comes up and the first email on my email list is some spam email from Playboy on it. It was just one of those deals where once I realized I didn't have a copy of my resume, I knew I wasn't going to get the job and for me.. I guess the receptionist seeing the "Playboy" email just made it feel even worse.
One time I went to an interview in which the company was on the second floor in a building with no elevator.. That was awkward.

worst was probably at Turner where you sit in front of a firing squad of people firing questions at you for an hour or so.

had a job interview for a field coordinator position with a scaffold company. I was fresh out of school and had been working in the industry to 4 years. They were selling the fuk out of the company to me. Nice people working in the office. Offered me a total compensation package of 83k a year (per diem, overtime included, was only about 18 bucks an hour) and I turned them down because i wasn't going to be around scaffold people all my life. I nailed all three interviews with them, went in prepared with a binder full of questions to ask them. at times it felt i was the one interviewing them.
