We had a go kart with no motor. We had to push it. Way to go mom and dad.

Makes sense now
Yea it makes total sense that both my parents were robbed and murdered to death when I was 7 years old. Life is fine now though, I was left a huge estate and a multinational company.

Any video gaming system...
Nintendo
Super Nintendo
SEGA
N64
My father absolutely refused to let me have one. As a kid i hated it, but all these years later in my 30s, i thank him all the time for not letting me have one. I look at these kids today and thank the lord my dad had the vision to see what video games do to kids and what a waste of time they are.

Trampoline.
Waited years for them to finally cave. Week 1 of having it I broke my arm.
Dad took it down and sold it.

Unless you were one strong arse kid, the chances of you kicking that over was pretty slim.

I used to play video games all the time. Some of my fondest memories with my friends were having all night video game sessions. I can barely pick up a controller now for longer than 20 minutes because mentally I just can’t get into them anymore. But maybe I’m a unicorn.

I grew up poor and mom was super cautious so the list is long.
She didn’t let us eat “sugar” cereal, just Cheerios, Corn Flakes, or Rice Krispies. Never kept Coke in the house. Didn’t let us play organized football. Guns were forbidden, though I had a BB gun she never knew about. Only powdered drink mix she’d buy was lemonade, and it was a sugar free one.

Trampoline. My dad said the box it came in included a wheelchair for future use.

Dirt Bike and drum set. Looking back my parents are wise.
