Not exercising

Nothing because I’m not a lazy shite

I masturbate way to much to even consider exercising.

My post was targeting the person advocating for KETO, but while cooking is definitely more economical than drive-thru, there is a huge difference in price and effort required to produce tasty food that’s filling vs healthy.
Rice and sliced bread are very cheap.
Lean protein, especially beef, is not.
Eggs were especially expensive for a while, but have thankfully returned to normal.
Simple, nutritious vegetables do not keep for very long, and must be cooked and consumed relatively quickly.
Beans and rice is extremely economical.
Pork has been (until recently), very affordable, though it is significantly less nutritious.
The step up in price between regular vegetables and organic ones is massive. It’s not a pittance.
The jump from the kind of plate lunch cooking that I do to a “healthy” style is a 3-4x/meal multiplier when I am already only eating less than 2 meals per day on average.
But that’s not why I am overweight. My issues are emotional eating and quantity, usually because I feel like I cannot waste anything and don’t want to throw food away. I’m right on the line between normal and overweight. I just don’t like the way I look and want to get in a little better shape. I managed to get 5lbs away from the best shape I have ever been in my adult life earlier this summer, which shows that I am making progress, but also that I have been in really bad shape since before puberty.
My post was just addressing the idea that eating “healthy” is cheaper. It’s not, especially if one is trying to cut carbs.

Did beans, quinoa, and chicken for lunch all week. Figured it out today that it cost me roughly $3/meal. Lean protein, fiber, complex carbs. Overnight oats for breakfast with a scoop of protein powder. Cheap.

Me too. At 190 lbs., you're borderline fat, unless you lift a lot. At 210+ lbs, you're absolutely fat.
I'm at 185 right now. I lift 4-5 times a week, and I walk/run ~3 miles 3 times a week, and I need to lose ~10 lbs.
What is viewed as "normal" by most Americans is extremely skewed.

I had a 4 pack if the light hit it just right lol. For me, I was thin. Genetically I have thick legs and a juicy booty.
Absolutely in the medical world or whatever chart there is out there, I'm obese. But if you look at me, I look like a dude that lifts a lot, but won's pass up a boudin ball.
Barrel chest that sticks out more than my belly. Helps me not look as chubby in the mid section. All perspective.

Captain Morgan Silver. I work out 5 times per week. I have my diet under control with a very good regimen. I just drink at least a handle of captain per week and other random alcohols that might get put in front of me.
11 days into dry January. Putting this theory to the test.
6'0" 225lb but I lift heavy about 4 days a week. Look fairly decent, just need to drop about 15 to be in top shape.

4 pack if the light hits right is a far cry from thin or skinny

If you’re 5’10” and 190 you’re overweight unless you’re an elite athlete with a very low BFP. Not sure how you thought you were “real thin” with those numbers.

More of a joke, since I was coming from 70lbs heavier, but ok.

Lol, I don't know why I'd lie about being mediocre height, but ok.

Yall missing the point here. Yes I was real thin for me. Coming from 270 to 190, ya boy gonna be real thin. Seeing my rib cage nah, but geez for ME, I was thin.

You are dead wrong. It is super cheap to eat healthy. Beans, rice and vegetables are cheap. It probably isn’t cheap to eat the healthy foods you want to eat, but don’t call him idiotic; you are the idiotic one.

I'm lazy, and I'm really good at convincing myself/rationalizing bad habits/ideas/things if it means i can be lazy or indulgent. it's a battle every day to just maintain the weight i've lost, much less lose more weight.
