While we're here, the whirlpool thin twin in my fiancee's apartment is having trouble. The lid switch was being finnicky but would work if you closed the lid and pressed down really hard where the switch was. Now it's just filled up with water and won't spin. Can I replace it myself or do I need to have a repairman look at it?

From all the bitching and griping about the noise, The Golden Band seemingly accomplished it's goal.

LSU lost the game and the LSU fans now hate the LSU band, so I disagree with you.

Seriously I would chant F *insert opponent name* in cadence with the notes very loudly until the school pulls it. My whole family was complaining during the game, I thought it was A&M since I never watch them.

I've never felt as tortured by a game as that A&M game and it was very much compounded by that ridiculous shite the band was playing.

It's like releasing sarin gas to disrupt the opponents defense. "Awesome. We killed their defense. Now the bad news: We all die too." People don't pay their ticket price to a game to have the band blare excruciating noise in their face all night.

Aren't both teams playing? Why wouldn't it distract both sides of the field? It would make me mad, no matter what position I was playing

Fans scream and make noise when the opposing team's offer see is on the line of scrimmage to disrupt the snap count and make on line adjustments difficult. No artificial noise amets are allowed at that time.

The band does their thing while the opposition is in the huddle to try to make calling the play more difficult. The Saints had that fricking 3rd Down siren. Tulane blows a foghorn (because there are only about 1,500 fans in the stands).

The Tiger Band has been playing this "tune" all season when the opposing team is in the red zone. Everyone just noticed it Saturday night because of the OT format and the band was is that end zone.

Auburn played it at us this year. I don't know what it is, but I hate it.

Yeah, it was LSU band playing it at Auburn.

Which is why Nick Brossette chose that end of the field, most likely.

It has been in my head all day. Pure madness during the 7 overtimes.

Bands should play music, not noise on purpose. LSU should be fined for allowing that abortion to be played non stop

I agree. It’s poor sportsmanship.

Thanks, I'll look at it myself then. I just have to move that big behemoth out of the closet it's in so I can get the work done.

I can understand them wanting to put that noise off on us, but it wasn’t our band. If I’m the athletic director I’m sitting the whole band in a room, making them watch the OT on repeat. Somebody should be fired over such nonsense.

Thankfully, one of the announcers blamed the Aggie band but it was our band.

I caught that, too. They flat out blamed the Neidermeyer Band.
