$2 on a scratch off I bought not long after the lottery started. I haven’t bought another in decades.

$500 on a scratch off a couple of years ago. I couldn't cash it at the small store where I bought it. The cashier starts saying:
"Man that's great! $500!"
I started looking at the people around me thinking...I'm bigger than these folks if anybody tries to grab this ticket thanks to Mr. I'm Gonna Announce This Shite.

But I often don’t play because i forget about it
I did win a small tv in a lottery at church

$150 on 4 numbers for MegaMillions, not sure what the payout structure is now but at the time I won 15 years ago it was the worst payout : odds ratio for any winning combination, the odds of getting 4 numbers was about 10,000-1 if I recall correctly. I hit it twice in a 6 month period when it was my turn to buy a lottery ticket for our work group but since there were 8 of us I only won a combined $37.50

Ten bucks. I bought lunch with it.

I have a similar story. Went to PCB just after turning 21 and the FL lottery had just started. Bought 5 $1 scratch off tickets in Tallahassee and the last one gave me a free ticket. The free ticket paid off $500. We had a pretty good time at the Toy Box strip club in PCB that night.

Tree fiddy. No seriously I got a few scratch offs in a secret sanata at my aunts and uncles house and I hit $350.

Lottery is a tax on the statistically illiterate.
I promise I am more fun than this sounds. I just hate taxes.

I have never purchased lotto tickets in my life. One time I bought 2 $5 scratch offs. If I end up with scratch offs for Christmas, if I win a free ticket, if I don't forget I will go get the free ticket, but I actually hate lottery tickets. I do bet on sports (although not as much lately because something about it being legal has taken away the excitement) I will go to the casino from time to time, but the lottery... You either have the number or you don't.. Same with scratch off. There is no thought going into it. That's not entertaining to me.

Next time try something like
I've never bought a lotto ticket.
End it there....

I’m sure it’s been stated in this thread, but I hate standing in line at a convenience store while an older person lays out her lottery ticket order to the cashier.

That would make for shitty discussion if everyone left out details and just replied "yes" "no"

I didn't post that in reply to everyone

1000 dollars on a Jumbo Bucks.

Just a couple weeks ago I won 180 bucks hitting 4 numbers on the Fantasy 5. 180 bucks is okay but if I had hit the other number I would have won 800k.

$100 is the most I've won on a scratch off ticket. It was many years ago at a gas station on Acadian when they were only $1 each. I exchanged it for 100 scratch off tickets thinking I was bound to win at least $100 with 100 new tickets. I was mistaken. Haven't bought a lottery ticket since.
I have an employee that won $3.2 million on a scratch off ticket in North Texas back in 2020. She took a lump sum, which was like $1.7 million before taxes. She's still my employee today.

Nothing ever, but my dad won $400 in 1979 in Las Vegas playing Keno at a casino breakfast on our family vacation. That’s like $1800 now. It was cool. Paid for a lot of our trip.
