$100 on a scratch off. My mom won $100,000 on a $5 scratch off about like 13 years ago. She’s one of those customers who will hold the line up while buying lottery tickets, but if paid off for her that one time.

I can honestly say I’ve never once bought a scratch off.
The wife convinced me one time to buy a powerball ticket when it was a crazy amount. We didn’t get one number correct. Enough for me to never waste my money on that again.

Played the Pick 3 $1 straight. Played the same number twice for the same drawing. It hit, and each ticket paid $500 a piece.

April 20, 2001 at 21 years old in my last year of college.
I hit 4 numbers and powerball. My other number was a 16, needed the 18. Jackpot was 58M.
$10,000 was the payout. I walked away with a check for $7,500 from the lottery office in Monroe, LA. I would’ve never seen 25 if I hit that 58M jackpot.

Found a scratch-off that was a winner. I was in middle school and I don’t remember the amount (less than $10)

My aunt(mom's sister) was a district manager for shop rite in the 90's. She was helping out a store in Crowley when some guy from Texas came in and bought a few scratch offs. He left and then returned with one of the $10 tickets he bought saying he didn't understand how to play it. My aunt said she couldn't refund him but she bought it off of him and he bought a different one. She just put it in her purse.
She gets home and my cousin is looking for gum in her purse. Saw the lottery ticket and asked her mom if she could scratch it. Won $10K. Ended up with $6,600 or so after taxes. It was gone in a week.

High school gf mom won $5k on a scratch off. She used it to buy a grand piano that barely fit in their single wide trailer. ?????

THIS is the story of the lottery in one post.
Back in the late 90's one of the news channels did a follow up piece on some anniversary of the LA lottery. They went around and interviewed former winners. Almost all of them were broke and right back where they started. Except for some baw they interviewed down south of Crowley. Dude had taken his lottery money and upgraded to a nice trailer, a new truck and a decent boat. Was living his regular life off the rest. He hadn't really changed anything else in his life and was doing fine. All the other people had gone nuts and spent every penny.

$500. It was either mega million or powerball. I was one number and one digit away from $1M (needed a 32 and had a 33 or something like that).

$6000 on a pick 4 ticket in Missouri back in 2018. Drove 2 hours to Springfield MO the next day to pick up the 4300 after taxes.
If I do ever buy a lottery ticket I usually do the pick 3 or pick 4 since it is a somewhat realistic chance of winning.
