El Paso > Seattle

El Paso > Chicago

El Paso > Philadelphia

And the first 100 miles of each of those was on desert trails, at night, no lights.

From ohio to Minneapolis to a Vikings game. Then we drove up north and crossed Wisc to the U.P. of Mich. Drove the UP then came down Mich and back to ohio.
Drove to Clearwater twice.
Drove to boston, then up to bar harbor maine, came down thru vermont, went to Niagara falls, and back to ohio

I’m not a roadtrip person. KOA campgrounds are awful. Driving through Texas is like pulling fingernails.

Take your pick.

I love em. Make sure you have lots of time, take the scenic route and avoid interstates.

Also not for those who are interested in any sort of scenery. At all. Literally anything.

Driving through Texas is what I imagine purgatory would be like.

I’ve done NO-Detroit a few times. Only about 16 hours, just over 1000 Miles.

How about awesome road signs. Coming back from 2005 Arizona state game after Katrina the interstate 10 and interstate 20 split outside of El Paso had a temporary road sign “east coast travelers take interstate 20 instead of interstate 10”.

I’m sure many people on this board did a straight drive through without stopping Louisiana to sun devil stadium.
