Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, and even California are all good for the outdoors IMO.

Tennessee, specifically Chattanooga, keeps getting the top vote from many sources.

My personal preference for a jumpng off town is either the Salina or Durango areas of Colorado.

If you include Driving or Motorcycle riding in the equation Tennessee hands down. If you don't, Florida would probably get the nod from me.

Colorado bar none.

I can’t imagine a state having half as many legit mountain ranges.

Slow your roll there Mr. Potato Head.

California, Alaska, and Montana have more plus than does Idaho.

Northern Arkansas is underrated but by no means the best.

Hawaii, California and Alaska. Idaho is up there too.

Personal preferences in outdoor activities plays the biggest role in what state you think is best though.
