We've eaten out twice in GA now. Before this we dined out probably 6 nights a week.
It's still pretty limited. I think the places that are doing the best are better,. non-chain restaurants for two reasons - 1) People trust them more and 2) people crave them more.
At least around here, nobody is lining up for Outback or Chilis. But I know that Atlanta institutions like Canoe and Rumi's Kitchen and the like are doing well and staying quite busy. In fairness, those types of places did quite well during the shutdown too.
The Atlanta breweries are open and I expect they'll be crowded this weekend.
It's still pretty limited. I think the places that are doing the best are better,. non-chain restaurants for two reasons - 1) People trust them more and 2) people crave them more.

i'm in Temple, TX just north of Austin.
we as a family went to a local Italian place to celebrate the end of school for my kids. That is the only time i've eaten in since mid march. There were 2 other families there. we don't plan on eating inside again till probably June, just out of respect for what the 50% capacity is going for.
I have seen quite a few cars in front of chain restaurants like Chili's, Applebee's, and BJ's. Nowhere near packed, but i dont' think i've been by on a Friday night or anything. BWW still isn't open at all. Olive Garden and Cracker Barrell are just doing take out and seem pretty empty when I've been by.

Most restaurants near me are still not open and only doing take out. If they have a patio they do have that open though, but no inside dining at my usual spots around me from what I can see. (Atlanta)
According to eater Atlanta a couple of places I like are opening up for dine in today or Friday so I guess it's just starting to open up around me.

The city of west palm rented a bunch of tents and closed off streets so people could eat outside at the restaurants. There were tons of people out on Sunday. Weather has been kind of wonky since but I expect good sized crowds socially distanced this weekend.

I understand people over 50 or with serious immune problems avoiding being out
Anyone who is young and healthy who thinks they need to actively avoid being out probably still thinks we are two weeks behind Italy or that we need millions more ventilators. Just plain nonsense from the media.

Amelia island, Fl is open and people were flocking to restaurants last week. Limited seating inside, but outdoor seating was wide open. It was beautiful!

Went to an early dinner Friday night at a popular restaurant. Roughly 75% of tables had people at them, but most were 2 people seated at 4 tops. There was one group of 4 seated together at an outdoor table.

Been out 3-4 times now. You can tell people are still apprehensive about going. Most places I’ve been are below the approved capacity.

You do understand some of the healthy young folks may have older or immunocompromised people that live with them or have to help care for them on a regular basis? And that could be part of why they hesitate right now on resuming normal activities?

Went to a popular local restaurant Monday evening. Patio was full, indoor seating was as full as it could be. They had signs on about every other table that said “this table is social distancing”. It was glorious.

My local bar has been pretty busy. We started being able to eat outside there three weeks ago and I've been doing that.
Went to the Bulldog in Nola this past weekend to eat.

Went to Lilette last night. They are doing all the wear your mask to the table blah blah blah.
When you get their you realize what a show the mask and social distancing stuff is.
Really no inconvenience for me as a diner though.

Went to pick up food at LaRumba in Jennings last night and the place was about half full, people waiting out the door and not a mask in sight. 'Murica!!!
