I know an old black dude that wears one everywhere and everyone calls him cowboy. Nice guy and looks a lot like Bass Reeves, so nobody fricks with him. LOL

I wear it because a baseball cap doesn’t shield the sides of your face or your neck When I’m on the tractor or working outside.
I’m not really into sombreros or niqabs so a cowboy hat seemed a logical choice.
As far you thinking I think I’m some kind of badass I really don’t give a shite what you think.
Personally I think the real reason for your OP is you wanted to wear one but someone made a comment that hurt your feelings. Since you’re the type of guy that needs reassurance from others your only logical act is to puff out your chest and try to elevate your ego above those that you tried to be like.
Sounds like you need a therapist. Remember suicide is not the answer. There is hope.
