I'm 5'11" and never once been called short. I've actually gotten tall a decent amount. I'm thin, so I tend to look a little taller than I am.

Tall isn't all it's cracked up to be. Just enjoy being able to find pants and long sleeve shirts that fit you.

Statistically 5'7" is average height for an American male. 5'8", 5'9", 5'10", & 5'11" are considered above average, 6'0" and beyond is tall.
When I was in High School 5'8" was the average, and 6'2" and beyond was tall.

Women's average is down to 5'4" from 5'6", and their tall is now 5'9" down from 5'11".

I'm 6'4" and I have to special order my pants so I won't walk around with high water jeans on. Damn stores need to start carrying inseams that are longer than 34"

Yeah because my doctor always asks to see my birth certificate before measuring how tall I am.

No joke...

6'5" and buying work shirts is a fruitless endeavor. Even the "tall" sizes aren't quite enough.

Sucks.

This is the OT, you're just "average."

Hell, I'm 5'7", and after reading this thread, I might as well be this guy...

I'm 5'9" and its awesome. Always have clothes at the store because I wear a Medium and 32/33 waist pants. I fit in all size cars. Beds are always long enough.

I traveled with my buddy in Europe who was 6'5" and he just bitched the whole time.

Were you born in the U.S.? Social Security #?
The government compiles lists of data for many variances of the population.

Those are the shortest damn people I have ever seen. We did a security detail there, I’m 6'2" and the other 3 guys were just over 6' and we were talking to each other over a crowed of almost 1,000 people. We were like giants! I don't think anyone in that crowed broke 5'5".
