We stayed at the Marriot. Recently built with very nice rooms. They have a Bar Louis inside and an adjoining outside bar right next to the pool and beach. Very nice set up. Next door is Clayton's Beach Bar. Massive bar with live music every night.
Get some Vitamin C tablets, crush them up coarsely, and put them in some panty hose or sock. Then rub them against the stain

That is your issue right there. You truly have no idea where your chemical levels are....That is the source of your problem

If you want to further your education on SWCG..go here

TFP.com
Your salt is either EXTREMELY high, or your balance of other chemicals are off. A salt pool is only 10% (3,000 ppm) compared to the ocean (30,000 ppm). Many pool "professionals" blame salt for deteriation of pool equipment or furniture outside. If you are getting your testing done by a pool store or from strips...that is likely your issue because those 2 sources are notoriously wrong.

You need to get a TFP test kit and do you own testing at home. It is much more reliable.
ANKER...check Amazon. Tons of options for what you need.
Pretty sure they will all yellow. I have a Spigen clear/gel case and just replaced it after a year. For $13, Id rather just replace them yearly

just keeping the chlorine discs

You know those have CYA in them also, right?

Every four hours I add 16 ounces, until I use a gallon, then test again.

That is TERRIBLE advice. I can guarantee you are in the 6's now (BAD) What was your pH to begin with? 1 gallon of muriatic acid will lower my ph by 1, and that is 18,500 gallon pool.

Stop listening to pool store employees....they are not knowledgeable . There ONLY goal is to sell and make MONEY

99% of pool owners issues with water chemistry is not following the free chlorine:CYA relationship. The higher you raise your CYA (TABLETS!!!!), the more chlorine you need to increase.

Check your ph once a week (keep in the 7s) and that's it. Yes Calcium Hardness and Total Alkalinity play a certain role, but not in keeping the water clear.

+1 on getting a robot clean. Pressure/Suction side cleaners are like using a flip phone...old technology. Robots clean 100x better

CYA MIN FC TARGET FC
20* 2 3-5
30 2 4-6
40 3 5-7
50 4 6-8
60 5 7-9
70* 5 8-10
80* 6 9-11
90* 7 10-12
100* 8 11-13

Just go to TFPand save yourself 150/month. It is seriously not hard. The amount of people that cant take care of a pool is ridiculous.
Jump over to TFP and ask the question. Post some photos. They have some experts there that will give to an honest answer.

That is likely the correct answer though

So does this mean I can tuck a pistol in my waistband, under my shirt, and it’s legal even though I don’t have a concealed carry permit? Resident of Texas Pistol is registered in my name.

Yes, but it has to be holstered. Cant carry it around like a gangbanger

Yes, I have one. No, it does not attract bugs.

I just installed this fan last weekend. I can now actually feel a breeze under the fan compared to absolutely nothing with my older 52" or whatever fan. I thought it would be breezier with hurricane force winds to cool me off, but no...just a gentle breeze. It is definitely an upgrade and would recommend.
