I like the comment in this video, the shape of it shows the sales graph.

The base mode is still 80k which is ridiculous

Agreed….thats why I asked. I used to see them all over my area. I sometimes saw 5 -10 per day. I saw one this morning for the first time in a month and that started me wondering where they all went.

This is called an anecdote.
It is statistically meaningless.

Electric truck sales are down everywhere except China.

Ford Lightning is currently not being produced and ford doesn’t know when they will produce it again.

Rivian is struggling to stay in business.

Cybertruck sales are down considerably. Which amazes me, because they are all over the roads in Austin. Which may point more to the causation, people who need trucks do not want a bloated price for limited usability.

They want practica use.

Cybertruck, Lighting, Rivian, and Hummer drivers are simply conveying the message, “Look at me being better than you, you’re still driving a gasoline powered truck where I am saving the planet by driving my overpriced status symbol that actually has a longer term net-negative footprint than your ICE.”

a lot of them were leases that people have turned in

my neighbor has one and it is cool enough but the interior is so plain and stark it is like a Ford F-150 XL

Believe me, those badly polished dumpsters are crawling all over NY NJ MA now. Quite possibly the most ridiculous vehicle design ever.

How would that compare to a power wall battery system? $80k worth of battery?

I think it's fun to see them- very ridiculous vehicles. I wish I knew someone with one, I'd like to ride in it at least once.

Buddy of mine in BR has one. Let me drive it all over town. When we were all the way across town I was instructed to just let the car drive us back to their house. And it did.

They are ugly and impractical but really very cool.

I see 3-4 almost every time I leave the neighborhood. They're all over the place in Atlanta.

My boys love seeing them. They're like the 2025 version of a VW bug for kids
