2022 Silverado. 70k(ish)
Currently under recall for engine issues, but other than that probably my most solid vehicle.

We’ve culled the fleet down to:
1999 F250 7.3L PS SuperDuty crew cab 4x4 Lariat 165kM (finally broken in)
2021 Subaru Ascent 84k
2008 Subaru Forester 125k
I casually shop for used and new vans, EVs, PHEVs to update and change things up for our current driving habits, but it never makes economic sense.
The old cars are permanently registered in MT and my State Farm agent lets me pause everything but comprehensive when I’m not using something for a while (I just shoot an email, done). And I have 6 years of warranty left on the Ascent (but have to stop using it as primary or I’ll hit the 100k limit soon).
Every time I get close to buying or leasing something I am amazed by the utter bullshite of the car markets and say f this.

Wife 2020 Silverado 40,400
Me 2016 Altima 154,000
Silverado has torque converter replaced for shuddering around 12,000 miles. Starting to notice a little shuddering again but I don't drive it often. Averaging 22 mpg. 11 while pulling trailer.
Altima CVT replaced once around 120,000 if I recall correctly. Averaging 33.6 mpg

Just don't like it. It's made of plastic, squats like a little bitch when pulling a trailer, does some annoying thing with the emergency brake when you park (which went out and cost 4K to fix) and is generally just an annoying vehicle. I realize lots of folks love them and thats fine. Just not for me
